Turn off a/c when remodeling

Aaac service heating & air 7708754113 This coil was stopped up with sheet rock mud. The dust from sanding was pulled into the return air vent. When the air conditioner came on and made water it turned the dust back into mud. It stopped the air flow and the coil froze up. It had to be removed brushed down and cleaned with cleaner. It is expensive and hard to do. If the dust turns back into mud again its time for a new coil. Turn off the system when painting or hanging sheet rock.
