| Found this comfortmaker air conditioner on a repair call. The motor bounces bad. They put a rock on it to help. Its a rental home so they don't want me to fix it I was here for the furnace. A bad fan blade will make it shake. When the motor dies they will need a new blade as well as the motor. It is 16 years old so they might do well to replace the air conditioner when a major repair is needed. Aaac service heating and air found this in Stockbridge while on a furnace repair. This motor will shake itself apart soon. At this age it makes sense to replace the hole air conditioner at 16 years old. A $250 motor and $100 fan blade are to much to invest in an old a/c. All that shaking will make this leak soon.
Air conditioner frozen? Turn it off it needs to melt before we can work on it. It takes several hours to melt so don't wait until we get there. Is your a/c running but you have no cold air/ It may be low on Freon or the compressor is not on the fan is the only thing running. We can help.
